Born and raised in Hollywood, 1983, I’ve always been captivated by the power that film music has to transport a listener. In the first moment I heard John Williams’ score for Superman, I was obsessed. I started playing piano and guitar, played in rock bands across the Sunset Strip, then graduated USC with a Master’s degree and have been working as a composer ever since.
Making audiences feel deeply immersed in the experience is absolutely vital. I love the challenge of finding each story’s unique sonic fingerprint. The process of experimenting with instruments, unlikely sounds, collaborating with filmmakers, crafting those edge-of -your-seat moments is the most rewarding work I can imagine.
I approach every project with creativity, dedication, and a touch of cool. My ability to deliver scores that bring stories to life along with a proven track record on major projects is the reason I’ve gained the trust of my clients.
A few major influences for me include James Horner, Metallica, Bad Religion, Maurice Ravel, Phillip Glass, Arvo Part, and Henry Purcell. The 80’s had a big impact on my style.
Recently I composed a score for a documentary called Hard Twist, arranged songs and hymns for Perry Mason on HBO, wrote main themes for the Indy 500 on NBC and Pro Bowling on FOX, award winning art films, and music for many blockbuster trailers such as Jack Ryan, Disney’s Jungle Book, and NCIS.
